At Akhtala, AMAP installed 5 information panels, 6 directional signs, 2 travel trail signs (Kings, Queens & Princes), 7 laser cut markers. In addition, we distributed 150 laminated guides for visitors speaking one of six alternate languages (Spanish, German, Hebrew, Japanese, Arabic and Farsi).

Akhtala was built in the late tenth century by the Kiurikids, a branch of the Bagratunis.
